Proposal for the 2024 Venice Architecture Biennale (Philippine Pavilion)
The Atlas of Domestic Futures is a collection of speculative houses designed and envisioned by locals from different areas in the Philippines that aim to address problems brought by climate change in domestic settings. Through speculative architecture, the researchers aim to bring forward the commonly unspoken narratives by locals and to actualize it as cogent and viable domestic spaces.
Architecture being a field saturated with voices from dominant names, it is vital that the marginalized, who experiences these climate changes more vividly, has their stakes in shaping their own future.
