Coffee Product Redesign

CONTEXTUAL DESIGNMOBILE APPEXPERIENCE DESIGN

Integrating local and regional patterns in designing the mobile app experience

We looked into the local e-commerce landscape to understand how people use ordering experiences and what they expect in when using them. We also looked into patterns we gathered from studying Southeast Asian products and studied which features can be integrated in the redesign.

Designed interactions that allow for a more hardworking Dashboard

Integrating cross and upselling patterns through scenarios that is familiar locally

Designing an experience for a rewards system in the local market

Multi-state interaction designs which accounts for varied use-cases

Most of the pages in the app utilize a multi-state interaction design approach where screens assume 2 major states to account for different uses. This is done in order to disseminate information in bite-sized chunks to users while at the same time give them the option to view all details in one glance.

This coffee product redesign is an exercise on synthesis and iteration. The resulting app is the product of multiple iterative sprints and varied landscape analyses.

Despite the ubiquity of ordering systems, we learned that there are quirks and niches to it that can be unearthed by examining local digital products.
