The Disinformation Interface is a project created under the Artists 4 Digital Rights Network Program where I was selected as a participant to create creative work to raise conversations on digital disinformation in the Philippines. The project is an augmented reality sculpture formed based on Jonathan Ong and Jason Cabañes’s findings on their research journal, the “Architects of Networked Disinformation”.
The Disinformation Interface is a spatial object that mimics the experiences of the effects of volatile virality and digital black-ops through manipulation of digital-spatial elements within the object. The work is published in the Counter-Narratives (2021) journal and is exhibited in the digital exhibition of the same name in Gather Town.
