Studio: Multispace world objects
Design studio under De La Salle - College of St. Benilde
The studio examines the notion of Multispace which is architecture that can exist in multiple instances, scenarios, and realities (as articulated by Owen Hopkins) which continues The Digital Project of the 90s with traces of Bartlett’s RC12 pedagogy — reframed in relation to demystifying misconceptions about the Multiverse and the spatial implications of Web 3.0.
Students were tasked to create World Objects that sift through digital and physical spaces — scanning personal spaces, manipulating forms through videogame nuances, AR and AI latent spaces, and designing fiction around the worlds they create.
