The Future Epitaphs Series is interested in exploring the transitory nature of fake accounts found on social media platforms. These fake accounts, also known as trolls, are sensationalized in digital space. This sensationalization makes it more difficult for us to pinpoint its specificities and proclivities.
The artwork echoes the idiosyncratic randomness of those qualities through the exaggeration of typographic forms generated from their usernames. The QR code on the bottom right of the frame points to the social media profile of the fake account the artwork is named after.
