The Latent Specters series attempts to uncover creative potentialities in urban ruins through digital excavations using an array of digital technologies. Images and flattened point clouds were drawn out from the properties of the scanned 3D models of abandoned places that I visited around the Fourth District of Pangasinan.
These extracted digital assets were used to create still-reality digital compositions wherein the figure of the abandoned space is placed at the center and manipulated point cloud assets infused with colors from the central object populate the background.
