Making the troll hub tangible

Where are the trolls is a series of augmented reality objects embedded as codes on mobile sculptures that simulate the culture of orchestrated hate through fabricated scripts made by online trolls on digital platforms. The accumulation of anger stimulated by provocations from anonymous personas convert social media posts from being heralds of information into hubs of aggression.
The artwork aims to use the physical properties of a troll hub in order to make more explicit its aesthetic effects. Through the creation of a kit-bashed hyperobject of digital affordances, the previously invisible phenomenon becomes more tangible.
